Come enjoy dessert and learn more about Church of the Savior! This is the first step in the membership process, and a great way to meet Savior staff and ask questions you may have about our church.
Hosted by Brad & Sarah Lindsay, 118 Vernon Ave. Wheaton 60187. To RSVP or ask a question, please email Sarah at email@example.com.
Men of the Savior meet monthly over breakfast to get to know one another, share our common experience as men and to pray for one another. This year, we’ll be gathering in two smaller groups in two homes for home-cooked food and facilitated discussion on a practical topic.
For location or more information, contact Steve McNeely at firstname.lastname@example.org or (630) 697-7677.
Join us Monday evening, Aug. 27, for a special seminar (7-8:15pm at PHCC). To get more from our 5-week sermon series on Revelation, Fr. Kevin will explain how to understand this kind of writing, and Richard Kepner will explain the Roman culture and its pressure on the original Christians who received the book.
Join us after worship on Saturday, August 18th for our End-of-Summer picnic! Savior will provide grilled meats, buns, condiments and beverages, and the sides will be potluck-style.
If your last name begins with letters A-L, please bring a fruit or a side dish; last names M-Z, please bring a veggie or a salad.
If you have a chest cooler, please bring that so we can keep foods chilled during the service. There is limited seating, so bring along your chairs or picnic blankets.
We will also have a dessert truck with dessert for $2 per serving, so don’t forget your wallet!
Join us at the church on Saturday, August 11th from 10am-11am and learn how our kitchen scraps can transform into garden soil from our guest speaker from the Conservation Foundation. Please bring your kitchen scraps in a container to add to the church's composting bin. Kitchen scraps can be banana peels, cores of fruit, any part of a veggie, but NOT meat or dairy products.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Sarah Lindsay.
Fun for all! Come for to create a Paschal Candle for your own home during Eastertide.
