Youth Ministry

Partnering with All Souls Anglican Church, we offer a safe community for youth to ask questions, have fun, make friends, and become stronger disciples of Jesus Christ. Our youth are led by Fr. Andrew Unger, and the youth ministry is called "Zao," the Greek word for "I live." Fr. Andrew explains, "Our youth ministry is all about living the abundant life that Jesus calls us to.  Our mission is to help students live abundantly by being drawn and drawing others into Christ’s kingdom."

Wednesday Night Youth Groups

We gather, play some games, pray, worship, and learn about our faith. Junior High and Senior High work through different books of the Bible.

  • For both Middle School and High School students.
  • From 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • At All Souls Anglican Church (25W741 Jewell Road, Wheaton).

Sunday Night House Groups

Smaller groups meet in homes to have open conversations about faith. To confirm locations, please email Fr. Andrew.

Fun Activities throughout the Year

And yes, many involve pizza.

Summer Mission Trip

Each summer our students come alongside a church or ministries in an under-resourced neighborhood, and help in food pantries, talk with guests in homeless shelters, and more. We raise money for the trip with fundraisers from January through June.

Confirmation

Every other year, we give our students the chance to go through the Confirmation process. They study their faith deeply and then, as they're ready, confirm it publicly and receive prayer from the bishop.
