The Service of the Passion starts with the Liturgy of the Palms, jubilant as we sing “Hosanna” and welcome Jesus as King. A short time later, we are the crowd again, but this time we are angry, turning against Jesus, shouting, “Crucify him!”

These two liturgies, with their joy and sorrow, set the tone for the week to come as we walk through these final days of Jesus' earthly ministry.
