Week 1, Day 1:

Watch this video, created by Savior attender Kristen Page using her own photography with music for “Here I Am, Lord” arranged by Anna Laura Page and performed by Wren Page (cello) and Anna Laura Page (piano).

Read the lyrics to “Here I Am, Lord.”

Wonder about the song, using these prompts to begin:

  • I wonder how the sea and sky feel about God?

  • I wonder what it feels like to bear God’s light?

  • I wonder what it feels like to have a heart for love alone?

  • I wonder how you hear God’s words?

  • I wonder where God might send me?

  • I wonder what it feels like to enjoy God’s feast?

  • I wonder how you can hold God’s people in your heart?

  • I wonder what you wonder?

Week 1, Day 2:

Make a telescope, using the instructions here.

Create a star projector: try this simple version, with patterns for real constellations and blank patterns to create your own constellations. Or try this sturdier version with older kids and adult supervision.

Week 1, Day 3:

Choose a space craft project: make a galaxy mobile, a stained-glass earth, or sun paper.

Reflect: as you create your artwork, think about how amazing it is that God made the whole universe -- and how amazing it is that God created us to be creative, too.

Bonus weekend activity: make Moon Pies! Click here for a recipe, or here for a gluten-free version.
